PMI currently requires 35 hours of project management training and recognises eligible on-demand learning as a way to meet this requirement. Final PMP eligibility and application approval are determined by PMI.

Is this self-paced course updated for the 2026 PMP® exam?

Yes. The course is designed to support preparation for the current 2026 PMP examination and should be maintained in line with the latest PMI Exam Content Outline. The current exam contains 180 questions in 240 minutes and places greater emphasis on real-world project delivery, value and outcomes, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and predictive, Agile and hybrid approaches.

How does the PMP® self-paced course work?

The programme is delivered entirely online and allows you to study at your own pace without attending scheduled classroom sessions. You can work through the lessons and learning resources according to your own schedule during your selected access period, making it suitable for working professionals who need greater flexibility.

How long will I have access to the PMP® self-paced course?

GMTC currently offers three access options: 90 days for USD 199, 180 days for USD 249, or 365 days for USD 299. All options provide access to the self-paced learning programme, allowing you to choose the study period that best matches your preparation timeline.

Are live classes included in the PMP® self-paced programme?

No. This is a fully self-paced online programme, so there are no scheduled live classes to attend. You can study at your own pace and access the learning materials when convenient within your selected subscription period.

What learning resources and support are included?

The programme currently includes structured lessons, PMP® practice questions, study resources, downloadable materials, flashcards, a PMP study roadmap and access to GMTC’s private PMP Study Group, where learners can interact, ask questions and continue their preparation alongside other candidates.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?

Yes. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive a certificate of completion for the 35 hours of training. This provides documentation of your completed project management training for use where applicable in your PMP application. Final acceptance of eligibility and supporting documentation remains subject to PMI requirements.

Can I take the PMP® self-paced course from outside Malaysia?

Yes. The programme is delivered online and is currently available internationally, allowing participants to access the learning platform and study from outside Malaysia. Because the programme is self-paced, you are not restricted by Malaysian classroom schedules or time zones.
