Program Management Professional (PgMP)®
The Program Management Professional (PgMP®) is an advanced certification from PMI®, designed for senior professionals who manage multiple related projects. It recognizes your ability to align programs with business strategy and lead complex initiatives at a high level.

Who Should Apply?
This course is ideal for:
- Senior project and program managers
- PMO leaders or directors
- Professionals managing multiple projects or portfolios
- PMP® certified professionals aiming for the next level
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for PgMP®, you need a strong background in both project and program management. PMI offers three different pathways based on your education level:
Option A (for those with a high school diploma or equivalent):
- At least 4 years of experience in project management, OR you already hold a PMP® certification
- Plus 7 years of experience managing programs (programs = groups of related projects)
- All experience must be within the last 15 years
Option B (for those with a bachelor’s degree or higher):
- At least 4 years of experience in project management, OR you hold a PMP®
- Plus 4 years of experience managing programs
- All within the last 15 years
Option C (for those with a GAC-accredited degree):
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, OR you have a PMP®
- Plus 3 years of program management experience
- Again, all experience must be within the past 15 years

- Total Questions: 170 (multiple-choice)

PMI requires you to earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) every 3 years to maintain your certification.
